Childhood Memories: A Poem
In fields of green and skies so blue,
Where dreams were born and laughter flew,
We danced with joy, beneath the sun,
Our childhood days, forever spun.
In secret forts, we made our stand,
With sticks for swords, we roamed the land,
Through imaginary worlds we'd roam,
Adventure beckoned, calling us home.
The taste of sweets upon our lips,
As friendships bloomed in playful quips,
With skipping ropes and hopscotch games,
We'd chase our shadows, call their names.
But time moves on, as it must do,
Our childhood days, too few, too few,
Yet in our hearts, the memories gleam,
Forever young, in our cherished dream.
So let us hold those days so dear,
For in our minds, they're always near,
And though we've grown and time has flown,
Our childhood spirit, forever known.
